Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Aged and Home Care Worker to join our dynamic team at Kirinari Community Services.

Kirinari Community Services is a well-regarded organisation that provides high levels of customer service in NSW and Victoria. Our core values guide our strong service delivery to enact positive change and choice in the lives of the clients we support.

About the Position

This permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver quality in-home care, supporting our customers to maintain their well-being and independence in their own surroundings for as long as possible.

A typical day assisting our customers may include:

  • Providing personal care assistance
  • Supporting with domestic tasks
  • Accompanying customers on shopping trips and appointments
  • Offering respite care and social support
  • Preparing meals and promoting community engagement

Hours are generally Monday to Friday between 7am –7pm, with some weekend and public holiday work required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver person-centred care to meet the needs of our customers
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, families, and colleagues
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and healthy work environment
Requirements
  • Certificate III in a health-related industry (Individual Support, Aged Care, Nursing etc.) or equivalent
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Smart phone and reliable vehicle for travel between customers
  • Current Driver's Licence
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 depending on experience.
