Job Opportunity: Care Support Professional

About the Role:

This role offers a rewarding career in aged care, with opportunities to grow and transfer your skills while making a real difference in your local community. As a Care Worker servicing clients in the Port Macquarie area, you will enable our clients to live their best possible life by supporting them with everyday activities such as personal care, household cleaning, meal preparation, providing respite for carers, transport to and from appointments/shops, social support and assisting with complex care needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and assist clients with personal care needs including showering, dressing and grooming.
  • Perform household cleaning and laundry tasks to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for clients.
  • Provide respite for carers and assist with transport to and from appointments/shops.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to clients.
  • Assist with complex care needs and develop strategies to address these needs.
Requirements:
  • A valid driver's licence and reliable motor vehicle with a minimum Third-Party Property Damage car insurance.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and an empathetic, patient and caring nature.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Estimated Salary:

$30.11/hour + super + salary packaging up to $15,900/annum.

We pay $0.96/km for travel to our clients.
