We are seeking an experienced Transport Allocator to join our National Transport Office team in Coffs Harbour. This role is responsible for the successful running of our Linehaul operations, liaising with drivers, operations staff, compliance and customers.

About the Role
  • Allocation of drivers and scheduled runs
  • Communication of departure and arrival times with drivers
  • Knowledge of driver fatigue and mass in accordance with legislative requirements
  • Maximising the utilisation of fleet to achieve optimal operational efficiency
  • Implementation and enforcement of processes and business rules
  • Ensuing drivers conduct is in line with company policies and procedures

A competitive salary package of $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, plus superannuation and attractive remuneration benefits, including novated leasing and staff discounts.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally with temperature-controlled freight
  • Familiarity with fatigue, speed, mass and maintenance requirements
  • The ability to manage staff effectively
  • A strong customer focus
  • The ability to multitask
  • Sound knowledge of metropolitan and regional freight networks
