Job Title:

Horticulture Team Lead

Job Description:

As a Horticulture Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in leading a team of maintenance staff to ensure efficient task completion. Your primary responsibilities include following schedules, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring timely completion of garden maintenance activities such as planting, hedging, weeding, pruning, and fertilizing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of maintenance staff to achieve operational goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective work schedules and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Monitor and assess garden areas to identify improvements needed and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to enhance the team's horticultural skills and safety practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate III in Horticulture, Parks & Gardens or minimum 5 years' experience.
  • Industry leadership experience with a proven track record of success.
  • Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.
  • White Card.
  • Valid Drivers' license.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
