Job Description

As a Horticulture Team Leader, you will have the opportunity to lead a skilled team of maintenance staff in ensuring our client's standards of garden maintenance are met and exceeded.

Based in the Southern Downs Regional area of Australia, this full-time position offers a competitive annual salary and superannuation benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with leading a team of maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Follow schedules and prioritise tasks to ensure timely completion of garden maintenance activities, including planting, hedging, weeding, pruning, and fertilising.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to the team to enhance their horticultural skills and safety practices.
  • Regularly inspect garden areas to assess their condition, identify improvements needed, and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Horticulture, Parks & Gardens or minimum 5 years' experience.
  • Industry leadership experience.
  • Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
  • White Card.
  • Valid Drivers' license.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
