Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced leader to fill the role of Assistant Manager, Licensing. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the management of the licensing team and contributing to the development of frameworks and processes to deliver tobacco business licensing functions.

About the Position

The Assistant Manager, Licensing will report to the Manager, Licensing and will be accountable for:

  • Contributing to strategic planning and implementing corporate initiatives
  • Developing operational policies and processes to enhance service delivery
  • Overseeing the assessment and ongoing monitoring of high-risk licensees
  • Providing authoritative advice on complex issues relevant to the licensing function
  • Maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have experience leading teams in high-volume, fast-paced operational environments and achieving performance targets. Appropriate qualifications or equivalent experience in licensing and/or regulation would be highly beneficial.
