Senior Licensing Supervisor Role

The Senior Licensing Supervisor will provide leadership and oversight to the licensing team, responsible for assessing and processing tobacco business licence applications.

  • Assessing and determining tobacco licence applications, within a risk-based framework.
  • Leading the development and continuous improvement of operational policies and processes to improve service delivery.
  • Providing input and specialist advice to inform decision making and identify opportunities to improve processes within the licensing team.

This role will play a critical part in maintaining high quality service delivery, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing process enhancements.

The Tobacco Regulation Project is seeking a skilled Senior Licensing Supervisor to contribute to the ongoing monitoring of higher-risk industry participants and address information requests appropriately.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and implement legislation in a regulatory context, particularly regarding applications for industry entry, assessing ongoing suitability, and addressing complex or high-risk issues.
  • Extensive experience in high-volume, fast-paced operational environments, ensuring performance targets are met and high standards are maintained.
