Job Overview

Play a pivotal role in shaping internal audit programs and safety systems for a leading organisation with a strong safety culture.

This position reports directly to the General Manager - Health & Safety and offers an exciting opportunity to use technical skills in data, systems, and auditing to drive real impact.

The Role:
  • Develop and implement internal safety audit tools and packages for Safety Advisors.
  • Train and mentor Advisors in conducting audits and monitor progress.
  • Analyse results, manipulate data accurately, and report findings for continuous improvement.
  • Conduct internal audits in line with global standards.
  • Manage and improve electronic safety systems, including hazard, incident, and contractor management tools.
  • Collaborate with IT to support data integrity, reporting, and system updates.
  • Deliver timely audit and safety reports for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
About You:
  • Hold relevant WHS qualifications and internal auditor certifications.
  • Have at least 2 years' experience in a safety or audit role.
  • Possess strong skills in Excel and data manipulation; experience with Power BI is desirable.
  • Have attention to detail and ability to maintain data accuracy.
  • Be a strong communicator with coaching and training abilities.
  • Be organised with proven ability to manage multiple audit streams and deadlines.
