Audit Manager Position

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our audit team in Adelaide, Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing audit objectives and managing a team of auditors to complete an effective audit process. They will also identify and report on client financial risks with regard to external financial reporting requirements, execute and deliver on various external audit client engagements in an effective and methodical manner, and prepare high-quality audit reports and related documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishing audit objectives and managing a team of auditors to complete an effective audit process
  • Identifying and reporting on client financial risks with regard to external financial reporting requirements
  • Executing and delivering on various external audit client engagements in an effective and methodical manner
  • Preparing high-quality audit reports and related documentation
  • Mentoring team members on each project engagement team to continually develop their skills and experience
  • Building successful client relationships with a positive attitude and the agility to multitask effectively across competing priorities
  • Providing expert advice and guidance on difficult audit technical issues

Requirements:

  • Previous audit experience in a professional services firm
  • CA qualification or similar relevant overseas qualification
  • Excellent communication and consultation skills enabling you to deal directly and effectively with stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills - ability to manage competing priorities at one time and deliver engagements in a timely manner
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to provide effective solutions for clients and prevent risk
  • Collaborative and consultative approach to working with diverse internal stakeholders
  • Excellent business development skills enabling you to build strong relationships and identify opportunities
