Key Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to lead, mentor and supervise a team of belt splicers, trainees and trades employees.

Responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day maintenance activities, ensuring all equipment is safe and fit for purpose, planning and coordinating shutdowns, inspections and audits, working hands-on with pulley and bearing maintenance when required, building strong relationships with clients and delivering high-quality outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate of Proficiency in Engineering – Mechanical (Fabrication-qualified applicants also considered)
  • Strong experience in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Leadership skills - proven ability to supervise, coach and develop teams
  • Dogging & Rigging tickets highly regarded
  • Excellent communication and client engagement skills
  • Commitment to the highest WHSE standards
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments
