Leadership Role for Youth Mental Health

This is an opportunity to take on a leadership role within our organization, overseeing the delivery of high-quality services to young people aged 12-25. The successful candidate will provide effective leadership and support to teams across our Darwin and Palmerston sites.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced leader to provide strategic direction and guidance to our headspace teams. As the Centre Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the service delivers quality early intervention youth mental health services, working closely with Clinical Leads and senior staff to achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide effective leadership and support to headspace teams
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality services to young people aged 12-25
  • Work closely with Clinical Leads and senior staff to achieve service goals
  • Foster key partnerships with service providers in the region to support the four key pillars of the headspace primary services model
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • An approved tertiary qualification in a relevant field (Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy or Registered Nurse)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience providing leadership to multidisciplinary teams within a clinical mental health setting
  • A passion for youth mental health and a keen interest in service improvement, access, and cultural safety of mental health services
  • Prior experience or demonstrated commitment to working respectfully with Indigenous and culturally and linguistically diverse clients, communities, staff, and Aboriginal controlled organisations
