Job Role

As a Youth Disability Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our participants. Your role will involve:

  • Providing assistance with daily living skills, such as domestic duties, establishing routines, cooking, cleaning, and financial skills and budgeting.
  • Transporting participants to complete daily activities, attend appointments, go to and from school/work and participate in community activities.
  • Developing daily living and life skills, including public transport awareness, financial skills, budgeting, pursuing studies and/or work, drivers license achievements, and other tasks.

Essential Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
  • A current National Police Check (NPC).
  • A current drivers license, and access to a clean, road worthy vehicle for transporting participants/young people.
  • A current First Aid Certificate.
  • An NDIS screening check.
  • Proof of double Vaccination.

Preferred Qualifications
