About the Job

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to individuals with disability, enabling them to live their best lives in shared housing or in their own home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred support and behaviour plans to clients
  • Facilitate client goal achievement through meaningful activities
  • Maintain thorough record keeping
  • Build positive relationships with clients, families and colleagues
  • Advocate for client choice and control

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Experience working with people with psychosocial disability or mental health concerns
  • Previous experience working with behaviour support plans
  • An unrestricted Australian driver's licence
  • A current First Aid and CPR Certificate
