The Role:

As the Chief People Officer (CPO), you will lead and manage the People, Culture, and Capability (PCC) team to deliver exceptional services to our organization. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop and implement strategic workforce projects and initiatives aligned with our organization's objectives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing the Strategic Workforce Plan and Workforce Action Plan to achieve organizational success.
  • Providing strategic advice to executive leaders, senior managers, and other stakeholders on people-related matters.
  • Sponsoring, developing, and delivering initiatives and services that support business growth and respond to emerging priorities.
  • Driving improved organizational capability, performance, and continuous improvement through integrated PCC programs and services.
  • Leading the PCC team to ensure effective management of operations, budget, resources, and delivery of work and projects on time and within budget.
  • Creating a client-centric and solutions-oriented culture focused on continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing.
  • Ensuring staff have the necessary capabilities and motivation to effectively deliver their accountabilities.
  • Coaching and guiding staff to promote ongoing development, skills transfer, and performance management.
  • Supporting and influencing executive leaders in setting organizational direction to deliver on government and strategic priorities.
  • Contributing to shaping the culture and operations of the Corporate Services Division as a member of the Corporate Services Leadership Team.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Preparing briefing notes and reports for executive leaders and senior managers.
  • Leading the development and consultation on PCC policies and procedures.
