Role Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the team in the placement of facultative reinsurance for various clients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist in implementing client growth strategies as set by senior management.
  • Develop relationships with existing carriers and identify potential new partnerships.
  • Support senior brokers to meet business objectives.
  • Provide high-level client service to enable effective client relationship management.
  • Manage daily client inquiries and keep clients informed on the status of facultative reinsurance placements.
  • Support colleagues in managing renewal discussions and placements.
  • Place facultative reinsurance, including cover confirmation to clients.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of general insurance/reinsurance across commercial classes.
  • Self-disciplined and organized with a motivation to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
