
Insurance Specialist

This is a challenging and exciting opportunity to support our team in the placement of facultative reinsurance for various clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of client production strategies, developing relationships with current carriers and identifying potential new ones, and supporting senior brokers to meet revenue goals.
- Implementing client-centric strategies as set by divisional leaders.
- Establishing and maintaining strong carrier relationships.
- Contributing to revenue growth through effective business development activities.
- Providing exceptional service to clients to foster long-term relationships.
- Managing daily client inquiries and keeping them informed on the status of their facultative reinsurance placements.
- Supporting colleagues in managing casualty and property renewal discussions and placements.
- Executing facultative reinsurance placements, including cover confirmation to clients.
To excel in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- A solid understanding of general insurance/reinsurance across commercial classes.
- Self-motivation and discipline with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
