Job Opportunity

A position is available for a Facultative Reinsurance Specialist to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the existing team in the placement of Facultative Reinsurance for various clients.

The successful candidate will have a sound knowledge of general insurance/reinsurance, across the commercial classes and will display self-discipline and organizational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines.

  • We are seeking an individual who can assist the team in implementing client production strategies as set by the Head and Deputy Head of the Facultative division.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, proficient in the use of Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • You will be required to develop relationships with current carriers and assist in the identification of potential new carriers.
  • To be successful in this role, you will also need to provide and maintain a high level of client service to enable effective client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the senior facultative brokers to meet the teams' revenue goals.
  • Managing daily client enquiries and keeping clients regularly informed on the status of their facultative reinsurance placements.
  • Assisting the team in managing Casualty & Property renewal discussions and placements.

Requirements:

A sound knowledge of general insurance/reinsurance, across the commercial classes.Self-disciplined and organized with a motivation to work to tight deadlines.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Proficient in the use of Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
