Strategic Facilities Director

We are seeking a skilled Senior Facilities Manager to lead our team in the Melbourne CBD. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic direction of the facilities function, ensuring seamless experiences for users.
As a Senior Facilities Manager, you will contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities. You will play a vital role in setting the strategic direction of the function while facilitating the delivery of the overall workplace strategy to meet Transurban's current and future needs.

Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategies for the Facilities Management Services function
- Lead, develop, and coach a highly capable team to roll out BAU and longer-term processes and strategies
- Identify areas to streamline and automate business processes, partnering with the technology team to leverage technologies for seamless experiences
- Represent the facilities function across the business, establishing best practice standards for facilities and leading the team through change
- Maintain safety as a top priority, providing safe, clean, and operational facilities compliant with local laws and regulations
This role requires a curious mind and transferable skills and experiences, including:
- A proven track record in a similar Senior Facilities Management role, ideally across multiple sites within a corporate environment
- Experience overseeing complex portfolios across owned and leased buildings, facilities management, consolidation projects, and contract management
- Solid knowledge of various codes and HSE regulations
- The ability to prioritize, delegate, and remain calm in a crisis; keen to get hands dirty to resolve situations
- Mentoring and leadership skills, demonstrating how it's done and influencing those around you
- An estimated salary of $180,000 - $220,000 per annum, depending on experience
