Enterprise Account Manager

In this strategic role, you will be responsible for managing our highest-value merchants as a trusted advisor.

  • Provide day-to-day support and ongoing consultation to drive retention through cross-sell of products and solutions.
  • Own new business growth and onboard new Enterprise customers smoothly for a great first experience.
  • Grow existing accounts by building early trust, driving adoption, and cross/upsell to multiple decision makers.
  • Prospect new verticals and craft tailored go-to-market plays.

You will also own:

  • Driving omnichannel adoption across your account network.
  • Running ongoing discovery of merchant needs; translate into solutions by orchestrating Finance, CS, Product, Risk, Compliance, and Legal.
  • Acting as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders; monitor and reduce churn with data-led action plans.
  • Leading commercial negotiations (including rate analysis) to retain and expand accounts.
  • Identifying whitespace and partnering with Product to scope and deliver enhancements.
  • Analysing portfolio performance and presenting insights/recommendations to customers.
  • Being the external face of Tyro's Enterprise AM capability and lifting brand awareness with corporates.
  • Making ROI-driven decisions; understanding Tyro pricing models and profitability levers.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum 5 years' Account Management experience, preferably with a payments or technology focus.
  • Strong grasp of the merchant acquiring and banking products.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, responsible and accountable.
  • Thorough understanding of the various Tyro pricing models and product value propositions.
  • Strong negotiator able to persuade prospects on value.
  • Results driven with demonstrated business acumen, delivering outcomes for both Tyro and its customers.
  • Strategic thinker able to help customers achieve their goals with the assistance of Tyro's Products.
  • Understanding the changing landscape of merchant acquiring and finding solutions using the Tyro Product suite to solve for merchants.
