We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate In Home Support Specialist to join our team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of older Australians by assisting them to live at home independently for as long as possible.

About the Role

This role involves providing high quality care and support to clients in their own homes, including assistance with day-to-day tasks, transport to appointments, meal preparation and personal care.

  • Assisting with cleaning, tidying, washing and other tasks within the client's care plan
  • Transporting clients to appointments and shopping
  • Preparing meals for clients
  • Providing social support or respite for family/carers
  • Assisting with personal care, including showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained)
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A genuine passion for providing high quality care to older Australians in the community
  • Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
  • Good communication skills
  • Reliable and trustworthy
  • Australian driver's licence and access to a registered motor vehicle (essential)
