The Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Service is a dedicated multidisciplinary team providing specialist mental health support to women experiencing moderate to severe mental health concerns during pregnancy and the first year of their baby's life.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Mental Health Professional to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality recovery-oriented care. This role involves working collaboratively with consumers families and service providers to support mental health and wellbeing during the perinatal period.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership mentorship and supervision to ensure the delivery of evidence-based strengths-focused recovery-oriented assessment and treatment within a multi-disciplinary team
- Carry a clinical caseload appropriate to the needs of the service
- Relevant qualificationregistration in one of the disciplines as noted in the essential criteria
- Ability to work collaboratively with consumers families and service providers to develop and implement care plans that reflect the consumer's goals strengths and aspirations
- Capacity to advocate for consumers within a multidisciplinary team setting while ensuring ethical practice
