We are seeking a diligent and motivated individual to fill the position of Culture Administration Assistant.

About the Role

This entry-level role is ideal for someone with aspirations in human resources, either currently participating in accredited training or looking to pursue a career in this field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional client service by responding to telephone and front counter enquiries, monitoring, screening, and redirecting emails in the culture administration inbox.
  • Conduct routine administrative tasks, record management, and information support to enhance the Culture department's efficiency.
  • Manage stationery purchasing and distribution, ensuring stock is readily available at all times.
  • Support the team with project work, contributing to overall success.
  • Prioritize professional development opportunities as they arise, demonstrating a willingness to learn and grow.
  • The position may require on-the-job training and attendance at scheduled workshops to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
  1. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in diverse teams within the social, political, and cultural environments of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families, communities, and organizations.
  2. A strong commitment to completing a Certificate IV in Human Resources.
  3. Excellent time management skills, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining punctuality and reliability.
  4. The ability to grasp new concepts quickly, apply critical thinking, and adhere to Work Health and Safety principles and practices.
