We are seeking a diligent and motivated individual to fill the position of Culture Administration Assistant.
About the RoleThis entry-level role is ideal for someone with aspirations in human resources, either currently participating in accredited training or looking to pursue a career in this field.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional client service by responding to telephone and front counter enquiries, monitoring, screening, and redirecting emails in the culture administration inbox.
- Conduct routine administrative tasks, record management, and information support to enhance the Culture department's efficiency.
- Manage stationery purchasing and distribution, ensuring stock is readily available at all times.
- Support the team with project work, contributing to overall success.
- Prioritize professional development opportunities as they arise, demonstrating a willingness to learn and grow.
- The position may require on-the-job training and attendance at scheduled workshops to ensure optimal performance.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in diverse teams within the social, political, and cultural environments of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families, communities, and organizations.
- A strong commitment to completing a Certificate IV in Human Resources.
- Excellent time management skills, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining punctuality and reliability.
- The ability to grasp new concepts quickly, apply critical thinking, and adhere to Work Health and Safety principles and practices.
This role will be based at our Batchelor Campus, offering a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
