Role Overview


We are seeking an experienced Executive Finance Director to join our team at Citywide Service Solutions.


About the Role


This is a critical leadership position responsible for providing strategic financial guidance and oversight to the Corporate Finance team, ensuring the company's financial health and stability.


The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of accounting standards, Australian tax laws, and compliance requirements. They will be responsible for managing the month-end process, audit process, financial reporting, and tax compliance.


Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability
  • Lead the Corporate Finance team, including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions
  • Manage and review corporate division budgets and forecasts
  • Provide assistance with the annual business planning process
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly management reports and year-end statutory accounts
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including the Financial Controller, Audit Committee, and Board of Directors

Requirements



  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field combined with a CPA or CA qualification
  • Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, preferably in the same industry
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and accounting software
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to manage and develop a team, including financial shared service and accounting functions
