Job Title: Construction Project Lead

A senior-level leadership role with a focus on residential construction project management. The successful candidate will have strong technical expertise and experience in managing high-quality construction documentation.

  • Provide strategic direction and oversight to ensure delivery of projects within set timelines and budget constraints.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of drafters, guiding them to achieve exceptional results through effective communication and technical guidance.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of detailed construction drawings using Revit, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external consultants such as engineers and certifiers to align project specifications and expectations.
  • Monitor workloads, prioritize tasks, and drive project outcomes by meeting deadlines and adhering to quality control processes.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in residential drafting or a related field, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise.
  • Proficiency in Revit and other relevant software, coupled with an understanding of national construction codes, local council regulations, and construction practices.
  • Proven leadership experience, including managing and mentoring staff to foster growth and development.
