The Opportunity

This is an exciting role for a Strategic Business Growth Associate covering the ANZ region. You'll be part of a high-performing team working cross-functionally across sales, field marketing, channels, and solution consulting. Your mission will be to identify new business opportunities in strategic accounts, while engaging with clients to increase awareness of new OpenText products and solutions across diverse industries.

The Account Development function is crucial to our company's success and driving future growth. As a Strategic Business Growth Associate, you'll need to be goal-oriented, self-driven, creative, persistent, energetic, and positive.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Build quality sales pipelines for our Account Executives by engaging with prospects and existing customers to identify potential projects.
  2. Drive business conversations with senior prospective stakeholders from IT and the business up to an executive level.
  3. Schedule and host discovery calls between your AEs and prospects.
  4. Design and execute prospecting plays/campaigns into strategic accounts.
  5. Follow up on leads generated by Field Marketing activities in a timely and organized manner.
  6. Research, call, email, and build relationships with clients using various communication channels.
  7. Self-plan to support your training and enablement and attention to detail in management reviews.
  8. Travel in the region as necessary to attend client events and represent OpenText while prospecting onsite.
Requirements and Qualifications
  1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in lead generation and sales, preferably with a background or interest in technology and software.
  2. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to listen and understand client needs.
  3. PREFERRED: experience engaging clients in the ANZ market.
  4. Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills are required.
  5. Ability to think creatively when researching leads and finding new ways to showcase how OpenText solutions can help clients achieve their goals.
  6. Track record of autonomy, ownership, and execution.
  7. Strong desire to learn, adapt, change, and grow as a professional.
  8. Experience across CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and productivity tools (e.g., MS-Office).
  9. Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience.
Earnings Potential

We offer a highly competitive salary for this role, with an estimated annual earning potential of AU$95,000 - AU$120,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
