Senior Support System Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Support System Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and delivery of cutting-edge systems and technologies.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and innovative individual to work in a dynamic environment, leveraging their technical expertise to drive business success.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system engineering, with experience in developing and managing system requirements, models, and documents.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage system requirements, models, and documents, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical feasibility.
  • Undertake system engineering activities, including requirements management, functional analysis, candidate solution development, system design, integration, testing, and certification.
  • Participate in system design and subsystem partitioning to achieve robust modular architectures.
  • Use domain, discipline, and systems engineering understanding to ensure enabling, supporting, and delivered products meet their requirements and are fit for purpose.
  • Develop and execute system tests, agreeing component tests to ensure implemented designs conform to specifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in engineering design and integration, with a background in maritime/ navy/ ship building being desirable.
  • Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain NV1 clearance.
  • Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations.
