Job Summary:

The IT Support Specialist plays a vital role in delivering exceptional technical assistance to staff, ensuring seamless onboarding and addressing diverse tech-related inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and professional IT support to resolve hardware and software issues, including desktop computers, printers, telephony, and network problems.
  • Assist with troubleshooting complex issues, collaborating with suppliers as necessary to expedite resolution.
  • Conduct thorough investigations to resolve data inconsistencies and other queries, escalating issues requiring specialized expertise.
  • Support end users and staff in utilizing IT systems through comprehensive training initiatives, promoting effective adoption and productivity.
  • Deliver proactive customer communication, maintaining regular contact with stakeholders to ensure prompt issue resolution.
  • Align decision-making processes with customer outcomes, prioritizing personalized support and expert knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in delivering exceptional support within a service desk environment.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and strong communication abilities, facilitating effective collaboration and issue resolution.
  • Proficiency in security administration, Microsoft suite, and hardware/office equipment setup, supporting the maintenance of ICT infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft server and system technologies, alongside backup and disaster recovery methodologies, ensuring business continuity.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment, aligning with organizational values and promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Information Technology related qualification (or related experience) to provide expert technical guidance.
