System Architectural Expert Sought
Job Description:We are in search of a seasoned System Engineer to spearhead the design, maintenance and security of our enterprise systems and cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop, implement and maintain internal systems and cloud infrastructure
- Manage Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Exchange Online, Office 365, Active Directory)
- Oversee virtualisation environments (VMware, Citrix, Hyper-V)
- Configure and support backup, replication and disaster recovery solutions
- Implement security measures to safeguard systems and data
- Support network operations including LAN, VLANs, Firewalls, and VPN
- Monitor systems, analyse alerts and perform remediation
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports and policies
- Lead IT projects and provide expert guidance across multiple entities
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Systems Engineer
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert or MCSE
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Servers, Azure, and scripting
- Strong experience with on-premise and virtualised technologies (HP/Dell servers, HCI, VMware, Citrix)
- Proven project management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong working relationships
