About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Research Team Lead to join our dynamic team at St Vincent's Health Australia. As a key member of our Haematology research team, you will be responsible for leading a team of clinical trial coordinators and research support staff to coordinate and establish clinical trials and research in the area of Haematology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of clinical trial coordinators and research support staff to coordinate and establish clinical trials and research in Haematology.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary healthcare teams to provide practical coordination of nursing and medical care.
  • Develop and implement clinical research coordination, clinical practice, and clinical trial management strategies.
  • Mentor junior trial coordinators to ensure the development of their skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the professional development of self and others within the team.
  • Manage trial budgets and CTMS database management to ensure efficient and effective research operations.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency or hold tertiary qualifications in Allied Health, Medicine, Pharmacy, or other health-related disciplines.
  • Extensive experience in clinical research trials, particularly pharmaceutical.
  • Understanding of ICH-GCP principles and National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) policy and procedures.
  • Effective interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
