About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our compliance team in Australia and Papua New Guinea, working closely with the legal lead and compliance professionals across Asia Pacific.

You will play a critical role in managing all compliance duties and responsibilities, ensuring that our clients are served compliantly and that risks are managed effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support growth strategies for Aon Australia and PNG, ensuring compliance and risk management.
  • Evolve and support Aon's global compliance strategy, aligned with local regulations.
  • Lead and inspire the Australian compliance team, driving global goals locally.
  • Maintain Aon's global policies and local addenda.
  • Drive fact-based progress of compliance programs and their effectiveness.
  • Oversee the assessment of new laws, regulations, and trends in Australia and PNG.
  • Partner with the Chief Risk Officer Asia Pacific to maintain APAC's risk management framework.
About You

We are looking for an experienced compliance professional with operational management experience, exposure to financial services, and a process-oriented approach.

You will have a proven ability to manage and motivate a team, commercial problem-solving skills, and the ability to influence and articulate strategy.
