Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Business and Communications Specialist to join our team in the Northern Territory. This exciting opportunity will provide you with the chance to support operations across multiple remote communities, working closely with our Land and Sea Management group.
This is an excellent role for someone who is passionate about communications, administration, and finance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support, managing contracts, and coordinating program activities.
About The Role
- This is a challenging opportunity that requires strong organisational skills, analytical capabilities, and effective communication skills.
- You will work closely with our Business Coordinator to ensure that all operations align with organisational policies and funding requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Contract management, procurement, payments, and compliance
- Coordinating social media platforms, website content, and communication strategies
- Logistical arrangements for program promotional events, workshops, and meetings
Requirements
- Advanced Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or related field, and/or minimum of two years' experience in a similar position
- Experience in financial planning and management including budgeting, procurement, and cost management in alignment with organisation systems and processes
- Strong project management and analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret complex reports, contracts, and financial information
- Excellent cross-cultural, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and coordinate across diverse stakeholders
