As a retail coach, you will have the opportunity to make a tangible impact in remote retail environments across Northern Territory and Far North Queensland.Retail Coach - NT & FNQThis role involves mentoring, travelling to stores, and enhancing retail standards where it matters most. It is a hands-on, rewarding, and impactful position that requires a passionate retail leader who thrives on building others up.About the OpportunityWe are seeking a retail coach to support remote Indigenous communities across NT and FNQ. You will travel to stores, mentor local teams, and elevate retail standards in meaningful ways.Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver training on store operations, merchandising, customer service, and food retail fundamentals
  • Mentor and guide Store and Duty Managers to improve performance and develop their teams
  • Identify skill gaps and tailor coaching support accordingly
  • Provide operational relief in stores when needed
  • Promote safe work practices, cultural awareness, and community connection

Requirements
  • Experience in supermarket, food retail, or remote community retail
  • Proven background in training, area management, or relief store leadership
  • Culturally sensitive and adaptable in diverse environments
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Certificate III in Retail (or willingness to obtain)
  • NT C Class driver's licence (or ability to obtain)
