Supermarket Retail Management Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled retail manager to oversee the successful operation of a supermarket in a remote community.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced retail professional to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of our community members. As a supermarket retail manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the store, including staff management, stock control, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the successful operation of the supermarket
  • Train and mentor local team members
  • Deliver on our nutrition policy
  • Work with merchandising, nutrition, and local stakeholders to meet community needs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of three years' retail management experience
  • Experience using electronic retail systems for stock control, point of sale, and staff management
  • Certificate III in Retail or an ability/willingness to obtain within the first 12 months
  • The ability to manage the unique challenges of remote communities, including limited resources, unpredictable supply chains, and cultural considerations/sensitivities
