Why This Role MattersThe Salvation Army offers a range of services including Harm Reduction and Primary Health Services. We are seeking a values-driven and experienced Registered Nurse to provide specialised withdrawal management (detox) nursing services, clinical assessments, mental and physical health care, referral for addiction medical assistance for clients.
This is a permanent, full-time position based in Sydney, NSW. Reporting to the Nursing Team Leader. Salary and conditions are in accordance with Aged Care Enterprise Agreement NSW-ACT-QLD Registered Nurse.
Your Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing assessment, support and treatment in line with Drug and Alcohol Withdrawal Clinical Practice Guidelines NSW and TSA policy and procedures.
- Support and liaise with visiting medical officers (VMOs) and other stakeholder relationships.
- Dispense safely and administer medications.
- Admit and discharge, maintain case notes and other required documentation and handover at change of shifts.
- Commit to an environment that values continuous improvement and innovation in the delivery of high-quality services.
- AHPRA registration.
- Current NSW Drivers Licence (desirable).
- Current First Aid Certificate.

Our estimated annual salary for this role is $90,000-$110,000 AUD depending on experience and qualifications.
