Nursing Care Professional

Catholic Healthcare is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nursing Care Professional - Aged Care Specialist. This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents and contribute to our organization's mission.
Salary and BenefitsThe successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly pay rate of $42.76-$53.46 per hour, plus superannuation benefits. Additionally, you will be eligible for not-for-profit tax benefits, which can result in significant tax savings. Job DescriptionIn this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to residents in our residential aged care home. You will work closely with the Care Manager and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident. As a Team Leader, you will provide coaching, supervision, and guidance to the personal care team, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional care.
You will be responsible for providing direct clinical nursing care to residents, acting as a role model and promoting a culture of safety and respect. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and contribute to the overall success of our team.
Requirements- A current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification;
- A thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards;
- Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes;
- Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues;
- Strong coaching/training skills and effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence;
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude;
- Competent IT skills and willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance.
