The Role

As our Community Engagement Lead, you will play a strategic and hands-on role in building a thriving community for older adults. You'll lead the design and delivery of innovative engagement programs that promote wellness, inclusion, autonomy, and connection.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement innovative engagement strategies that reflect the diverse interests, backgrounds, and wellness goals of residents.">
  • Facilitate regular resident forums, surveys, and feedback sessions to ensure programs are responsive and inclusive.">
  • Lead the planning and delivery of a wide range of activities, including social gatherings, educational workshops, wellness initiatives, cultural celebrations, and intergenerational events.">
  • Integrate resident life stories, preferences, and feedback into program design to foster personal meaning and connection.">
  • Align all engagement initiatives with wellness models that promote autonomy, purpose, and social connection.">

Qualifications and Experience

  • Tertiary qualification or demonstrated experience in community development, human services, aged care, health promotion, events management, or a related field.">
  • Proven experience designing and delivering community engagement programs.">
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders including residents, families, staff, volunteers, and external partners.">
