Healthscope is a distinguished mental health facility dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and satisfaction. Our establishment is committed to providing a supportive environment for both patients and staff.
We are seeking a casual Receptionist to enhance our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess strong time management abilities and will effectively oversee the front office while prioritizing outstanding customer service. This role involves being a knowledgeable point of contact for patients and collaborating closely with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations. This position requires availability for three days each week.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
·Overseeing a bustling reception area
·Handling incoming calls and facilitating patient admissions
·Managing payment collections
·Ensuring a high standard of patient experience
·Communicating effectively with medical professionals
·Performing various clerical duties as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
·Familiarity with medical software such as WEBPAS
·Understanding of Private Health Funds and Workers Compensation
·Experience in the healthcare sector
·Strong interpersonal and communication skills
·Highly developed organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment

Candidates will be required to present a current National Police check and a Working with Children check prior to employment. Individuals in patient-facing roles must provide proof of vaccination or immunity to specified infectious diseases as per healthcare regulations.
