About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team at InLife Independent Living Ltd. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with physical disabilities to live independently in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to clients with physical disabilities, including manual handling and PEG feeding
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Work collaboratively as part of a care team to ensure high-quality support and care
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Adhere to InLife's values and policies, including our commitment to diversity and inclusion
Requirements
  • Good judgement and common sense, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations
  • Experience supporting people with physical disabilities, including manual handling
  • Full driver's licence and willingness to drive clients' vehicles
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including sleepovers and day support
  • Commitment to ongoing shifts (more than twice weekly)
