About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Hearth Support Services. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our participants in achieving their goals and living their best life.

The successful candidate will have experience supporting individuals with disabilities, mental health conditions, and complex behaviours. You will be responsible for providing personal care, assistance with community access and recreational activities, and supporting social engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal care, including showering, toileting, and personal hygiene
  • Support participants with community access and recreational activities
  • Provide transportation and support social engagement
  • Assist with light domestic duties, such as meal preparation and cleaning
Requirements
  • Professional or lived experience supporting individuals with disabilities
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health conditions and complex behaviours
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Excellent communication skills
