Occupational Rehabilitation Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist. In this role, you will work with clients to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs, providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Case management and coordination of rehabilitation services
  • Development and implementation of injury prevention and workplace education programs
  • Collaboration with employers, employees, medical and allied health professionals to achieve return to work outcomes
  • Assessment and review of client needs, developing and implementing treatment plans to address psychosocial barriers to employment
  • Identification of suitable employment opportunities for workers who have sustained workplace injuries or injuries sustained from motor vehicle accidents
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Health Sciences or Rehabilitation Counselling
  • General or Provisional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency AHPRA as a Psychologist or eligibility for Associate or Full membership with Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors ASORC or Rehabilitation Counselling Association of Australia RCAA as a Rehabilitation Counsellor
  • Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry highly regarded
  • Fabulous communication skills, compassion, kindness, and empathy
  • Well-developed time management skills
  • A current NSW Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance
