About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Advisor to join our team on the Eastern Freeway Burke to Tram Alliance. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the largest ever investment in Melbourne's Eastern Freeway network.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing our project's Health & Safety Management Plan and ensuring 'best for project' outcomes are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively address HSE concerns by engaging with personnel performing tasks or activities.
  • Supervise and mentor accident investigations up to Potential Class 1.
  • Conduct risk assessment workshops to ensure HSE standards are understood and upheld.
  • Monitor and conduct regular HSE governance checks.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into incidents.
  • Deliver toolbox talks and inductions.

About You

  • You hold a Certificate IV in OHS or are working towards one, with prior tier 1 experience being advantageous.
  • You possess knowledge of reports and systems, with the ability to utilise technology effectively.
  • ICAM, RRTWC, RIW certifications are preferred.
  • You have hands-on experience in assisting supervision and management with HSE issues/action closeout within the workplace.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $140,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus additional benefits including specialised learning and development programs, a mental health and wellbeing program, industry-leading paid parental leave policy, family-friendly work practices, and coaching programs for staff on parental leave.
