**Job Opportunity**

Nelly's Healing Centre is a community service organisation that aims to support and advocate for Aboriginal women experiencing disadvantage.

The Family Case Worker will work in a comfortable, modern building in Darlington, near Redfern.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Develop and implement educational experiences to enhance learning, confidence and self-determination
- Provide assistance to increase opportunities for mothers to access activities developing social networks including participation in activities increasing knowledge and skills
- Assist with community driven activities and projects promoting community participation, enhancing parenting experience and meeting program objectives
- Develop and mediate relationships with women and families supporting the development of new skills and confidence
- Attend, enhance and maintain community engagement and partnerships with relevant stakeholders
- Resource and support women with information as requested and refer to other organisations where additional support is required
- Collection, input and maintenance of client data into CRM software
- Build a positive culture internally and externally aligned with Nelly's aims, objectives and values
- Adhere to privacy and confidentiality policies as outlined in Nelly's policies and procedures
- Implement, promote and maintain safe work practices in accordance with WH&S requirements

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

- Efficient knowledge of computers and relevant software to complete client data entry and administrative tasks
- Ability to relate to people from diverse cultural and language backgrounds
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good computer, administration and organisational skills
- Current Working with Children Check and Current First Aid Certificate
