Director of Midwifery Services

About the Role:
The Director of Midwifery Services plays a pivotal role in leading and shaping midwifery services across the region.
Main Responsibilities:
- Developing, implementing, and evaluating strategic directions, operational plans, and policies that support excellence in midwifery practice.
- Providing expert advice on workforce and professional matters, delivering strategic leadership to drive innovation, quality improvement, and positive change.
- Holding accountability for governance, practice standards, effective use of systems, fostering healthy work environments, and ensuring cost-effective, high-quality health services.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Midwife with the relevant regulatory body.
- At least 5 years post-registration experience as a Registered Midwife.
- Leadership or management experience in healthcare.
- Experience managing and leading complex projects.
- Experience guiding services or organizations through extensive change.
