Midwifery Services Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced midwifery professional to lead our midwifery services and shape exceptional care for mothers and families.

As a Midwifery Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading and shaping midwifery services across the region. Your responsibilities will include developing, implementing, and evaluating strategic directions, operational plans, and policies that support excellence in midwifery practice.

About You:

  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding or eligible for a current practicing certificate.
  • At least 5 years post-registration experience as a Registered Midwife.
  • Leadership or management experience in healthcare.
  • Experience managing and leading complex projects.
  • Experience guiding services or organizations through extensive change.
  • Knowledge of contemporary management practices in healthcare.
  • Experience leading quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to manage large multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency with computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite.
