Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join Experian as a Business Development Manager, reporting directly to the Head of Sales. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic partnerships, identifying new sales opportunities, and developing a deep understanding of the Education and Retail markets.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, with experience in enterprise software sales being a significant advantage. You will work closely with the Regional Sales Manager to develop and execute sales strategies, participate in weekly team meetings, and collaborate with colleagues to tailor solutions and improve the sales process.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Education and Retail markets, addressing their unique challenges and needs
  • Apply SPIN and STONGMAN sales methodologies to enhance sales effectiveness
  • Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss progress, share insights, and strategize for success
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement sales strategies

Requirements

The successful candidate will possess a strong desire to exceed targets and achieve business development goals. You will be required to book 15 new business and 10 follow-up meetings per month, demonstrate resilience in the face of challenges and rejections, and maintain a strong sales mentality.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1-3 years' experience in B2B sales
  • Proven track record in sales, with a focus on enterprise software sales
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
