Electrical Substation Earthing Specialist

As an experienced Electrical Substation Earthing Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality earthing designs for EHV and HV electrical substation projects across the UK and internationally. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the successful completion of complex earthing engineering projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of earthing design principles and practices, including experience with CDEGS software. They will be able to work independently on various types of earthing projects from inception to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Additionally, they will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver earthing designs for EHV and HV electrical substation projects
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and clients to understand project requirements and deliver results
  • Develop and implement earthing design solutions using CDEGS software
  • Conduct site visits to assess earthing conditions and provide recommendations
Requirements:
  • Relevant industry experience (HND or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering)
  • Strong knowledge of earthing design principles and practices
  • Experience with CDEGS software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
