Electrical Engineer - Earthing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to specialize in earthing design for various projects.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering detailed earthing design projects, ensuring safety, quality, and environmental requirements are met. They will work on all types of earthing projects from inception to completion, focusing on cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver earthing solutions for EHV and HV electrical substations.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to deliver complex projects.
  • Develop expertise in high voltage earthing design, including CDEGS software package (MALZ, MALT, and RESAP).
  • Conduct impressed voltage assessments, lightning protection risk assessments, and provide earthing engineering solutions.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualification (HND or BEng) and industry experience.
  • Working knowledge of CDEGS, Strike-Risk software, and CAD.
  • SHEA Power/CSCS Card holder (desirable).
  • Full UK Driving license.
