Senior Earthing Design Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Earthing Design Professional to join our team. As a senior member of our design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality earthing designs for electrical substations, meeting safety, quality, and environmental requirements.

The successful candidate will have excellent technical skills, including detailed knowledge of high voltage earthing design and the CDEGS software package. They will also have strong commercial awareness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering technically demanding earthing projects from inception to completion
  • Managing and leading design teams to achieve project goals
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Providing engineering solutions to site-based problems
  • Reviewing and authorizing earthing reports and drawings

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience in earthing design, preferably at a senior level
  • Knowledge of CAD and 3D CAD systems
  • Hold a CSCS card (desirable)
  • Full UK driving license
