Make a positive impact as a Community Support Professional in community and recreation settings.

As a Community Support Professional, you will be working with adults who have disabilities to engage in community activities. Your tasks may include:

supporting clients to work towards their goals, engaging in recreation and social activities, assisting with shopping, appointments, and events, fostering meaningful relationships, and helping with daily living and personal care such as meal prep, hygiene, and mobility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support clients to achieve their life goals and participate actively in their community.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist clients with daily living and personal care activities, such as meal preparation, hygiene, and mobility.
  • Provide support and guidance to clients in a safe and respectful environment.
Requirements
  • A positive approach, initiative, and self-motivation.
  • A commitment to empowering clients and maintaining quality and safeguards.
  • Effective communication skills and good English literacy.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team.
  • A willingness to support clients with personal care activities.
  • An Australian Driver Licence.
  • The right to work in Australia.
  • The ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certification if not already certified.
