The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing and Communications Specialist to join our Primary Health Insights Services team. In this role, you will develop and implement innovative marketing and communications strategies to promote and protect the PHI brand, support WAPHA's leadership role in delivering national services, and manage relationships with key stakeholders across the country.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive marketing, brand, and communication strategies for PHI services and projects, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and stakeholder needs.
- Produce high-quality, branded, and educational communication materials such as videos, newsletters, presentations, and reports tailored to diverse audiences.
- Manage and update digital communication assets, including websites and intranets, ensuring content remains relevant and up-to-date.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear, consistent, and timely messaging.
- Plan, coordinate, manage, and evaluate stakeholder events, handling logistics and communications to ensure a seamless experience.
- Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines across all communications and promotional materials to enhance the reputation of PHI and WAPHA.
- Identify communication risks and develop mitigation strategies, including monitoring media coverage and supporting risk management efforts.
- Track, analyse, and report on the effectiveness of communication activities, using data insights to drive improvements in stakeholder engagement.
- Provide communications support to major PHI operational projects.
About You
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following selection criteria:
Essential Experience and Education
- At least 5 years' experience in a marketing, brand management, communications, or public relations role.
- Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, or a relevant discipline.
- Proven ability to work independently, managing multiple priorities and assignments effectively under minimal supervision, whilst adhering to team processes, protocols, and WAPHA policies.
- Strong skills in identifying communication objectives and key messages from complex information.
- High-level writing, editing, and content creation skills with a close attention to detail.
- Demonstrated capability in managing the production of high-quality communication assets, including videos, graphic designs, and other collateral that meet strategic goals.
- Experience managing website and/or intranet content, including working with website development providers.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft 365 and digital marketing tools, including customer relationship management (CRM) and content management systems (CMS).
- Strong analytical skills in interpreting communication performance metrics and utilising data to inform strategy.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with a track record of building relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives.
What We Offer
- A salary package of approximately $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
